Our 5th grade students will be immersed in  a variety of STEM  activities this year, with a major unit focusing on robotics. Our students and staff are very excited to use the Project Lead the Way curriculum. They will begin learning  how robots are currently being used in many occupations today. Throughout the unit, they will be required to work as teams to carefully read directions, assemble two basic robots, test a variety of functions, program them to complete a task, and problem solve when necessary. Throughout the unit, the 5th graders will be learning and practicing the” 4 C’s” and use their Creativity, Communication, Collaboration, and Critical Thinking skills to solve a variety of tasks.
